  WOMEN'S FIELD HOCKEY FALLS TO SIMMONS, 5-0

BOSTON, MA, Sept. 23, 2006- Senior goal-keeper Colleen Strunk (Stoneham, MA) recorded 12 saves in a 5-0 loss in Saturday afternoon's North Atlantic Conference field hockey game against Simmons College in Boston.

With the loss, Elms College falls to 0-7 overall, 0-2 in the NAC.

Freshman forward Kristin Perkins (White River Junction, VT) netted two goals in the win.

Elms College returns to action Sunday, September 24 at Husson College. The conference game is set for 1:00 p.m.
