WOMEN'S FIELD HOCKEY GETS DEFEATED BY HUSSON, 9-0
BANGOR, ME, Sept. 24, 2006 - Elms College senior goalkeeper Colleen Strunk (Stoneham, MA) finished with nine stops, but host Husson College netted five first half goals en route to a 9-0 win over the Blazers in Sunday's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) field hockey game at the John Winkin Complex.
With the loss, Elms College fell to 0-8 overall, 0-3 NAC. Husson improved to 4-2 overall, 3-0 NAC.
Elms College returns to NAC play when it hosts Castleton State
College on Saturday, September 30. Game time is 12:00 p.m.
