FIELD HOCKEY FALLS TO BECKER, 4-0
LEICESTER, MA, Oct. 10, 2006 - Elms College senior Colleen Strunk (Stoneham, MA) and sophomore Katelyn Wasgatt (Worcester, MA) combined for 11 stops, but Becker College netted three second-half goals to pull away to a 4-0 win over the Blazers in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) field hockey game at Leicester, Massachusetts.
With the loss, Elms College fell to 1-10 overall, 1-5 NAC, while Becker improved to 1-11 overall, 1-5 NAC.
The Blazers return to non-conference play to host Anna Maria
College on Thursday, October 12. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
