Elms made it 5-3 in the fourth with junior Brian Hungerford (New Preston, Conn.) scoring on a groundout by Lyrenmann.
Leading 6-3 in the bottom of the seventh, the Trailblazers closed the door on the Blazers with a four-run inning, fueled by RBI singles from sophomore Andrew Casteel (Fairhaven, Mass.) and Nolan to send MCLA to 10-3 win.
