NAC FALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAMS ANNOUNCED

CHICOPEE, MA, Jan. 29, 2008 - The North Atlantic Conference recently announced its 2007 Fall All-Academic Team and five Elms College athletes were honored.

Women's cross-country junior Jill Bigos (Florence, MA) ( Biology), women's volleyball senior Kristen Havey (Methuen, MA) (History), women's soccer senior Jamie Walsh (Springfield, MA) (Social Work & Psychology), field hockey junior Katelyn Wasgatt (Worcester, MA) (Communication Disorders), and women's soccer junior Julie Wickman (Hampden, MA) (Nursing) have all been honored.

To be named to the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete has to have reached junior academic standing, have completed a minimum of two years in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.

In all, seventy-two student athletes who participated in a fall NAC sport earned recognition.
