CUNNIFF, GORDON NAMED NECVA ALL-ACADEMIC 

CHICOPEE, MA, May 9, 2007 - Elms College men's volleyball senior middle blocker Brian Cunniff (Pittsfield, MA) and sophomore outside hitter Tim Gordon (Methuen, MA) were recently named North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) All-Academic.

To be eligible, the student athlete must be in at least his sophomore year and carry a grade point average of 3.50 or greater.

Cunniff, a three-year starter, recently earned his bachelor's degree in liberal arts, while Gordon is currently double majoring in math and secondary education.

As a team, the Blazers were also honored as NECVA All-Academic. To be named, a team must carry a collective minimum GPA of 3.00.
